Mandira Bedi talks about difficulties post husband’s demise, says her kids mean the world to her

Actress Mandira Bedi will always be remembered as the very shy girl from the romantic flick, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. While she has not been an active part of the industry, she does, time and again, make appearances in movies. Some of the movies she has starred in have been the Prabhas starrer Saaho and the anthology Dus Kahaniyaan.

She was also a part of the small screen as she starred in serials like Shanti, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and 24. She has served as an excellent host in some of the editions of the ICC Cricket World Cups and the Indian Premier League season 2.

The actress suffered a setback after the death of her husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal, in June. However, her two kids, son Vir and daughter Tara are the apple of her eyes and the very motivation she needs as she leads her life with the same every as ever.

Bedi is currently hosting the third season of the Romedy NOW original, The Love Laugh Live Show. She is all praises for the show for it’s positive aspect. “The world could do with a lot more positivity, I know I could. Every time I meet any of our guests, the line of questioning is so lovely, upbeat that anyone who is watching it can get that vibration. I feel it when I am hosting it. There is a lot that people have gone through in the last year and a half, ” she says.
