Milind Soman confuses Priya Mallik’s gold medal with Tokyo Olympics, says won’t delete the tweet but apologies after getting trolled

After Tisca Chopra’s mistake over sports person’s congratulatory tweet now Milind Soman has made the same mistake. Actor and Model, Milind Soman has made a silly mistake over his congratulatory tweet for wrestler Priya Malik on her gold medal at the World Cadet Wrestling Championships. While caught in confusion he wrote that she won a gold medal at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. Well, he later corrected his mistake on another tweet and said that he was ‘too overcome with joy to check earlier.

Milind tweeted, “Thank you Priya Malik! #gold #TokoyoOlympics #wrestling welcome to Mt Olympus.” To which he got trolled for not cross checking the information well before making a tweet. He later wrote, Sorry, should have checked before my earlier tweet, but was too overcome with joy. Priya Malik won Gold at the World Wrestling Championships ! Onwards and upwards.”

Replying to a user who mocked him for making such a silly mistake and asked him to delete the tweet, Milind said, “I know now, still happy 🙂 and I won’t delete the tweet, sometimes its ok to make a mistake.”

Indian wrestler Priya Malik defeated Kseniya Patapovich of Belarus 5-0 to win a gold medal at the World Cadet Wrestling Championships on Sunday. Mallik’s winning news came a day after Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu won a silver medal in the 49 kg category at the Tokyo Olympics.
