Mira Rajput is the well-known wife of Shahid Kapoor who slowly steps by step entering the industry. As she recently shot for an ad of a beauty product and she falls under the trolling world for promoting what is seen as an anti-ageing cream.
After being linked to the Bollywood, she also has to face lots of criticism and regarding that, she said, “The internet is one platform that is accessible to everyone. People can say what they feel and it gives everyone the right to express themselves the way they want and to what extent they feel like. So, there will be opinions. It’s not that everyone is going to love you. I have always spoken for myself and I have never shied away from expressing what I truly feel.”
Mira has also said she is no stranger to negative comments, “It’s not something new for me. Nowadays, people receive backlash for whatever they do or say. It is the way the internet is. At some level, it is a bit sad.”
Well, talking with leading magazine Vogue she told about husband Shahid Kapoor, “Shahid is an extremely loving and supportive husband. It comes naturally to him. The smallest things he does make me smile and feel so loved, like when I wake him up in the middle of the night with a foot cramp and he soothes it. Or how hands-on he is with Misha and has really made sure she doesn’t feel the lack of my attention and presence, especially in these last few weeks where I can’t pick her up or play very much with her. It’s everything put together. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to walk beside me through this journey.”
Being a mother is really an indescribable feeling but she said having Misha with her at this time is special, “Being able to bring a life into this world, feel it grow inside, and being able to connect with the baby before it has actually even arrived is surreal. And this time it’s been so interesting to see how Misha has been through the entire process. She knows there is a baby inside and she says, “Hi Baby!” every day to my tummy.”
