Mouni Roy posts a pic dedicated to his ‘mythical magical’ friend & Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji

Mouni Roy after making her Bollywood debut with Gold is all set to appear on the silver screen for the second time in Ayan Mukerji’s highly anticipated fantasy trilogy Brahmastra. Ever since the film was announced, there has been a lot of hype among the audiences, considering the various attractions in the film.

Firstly, the movie will bring the power couple of Bollywood Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor on screen together for the first time. Secondly, Ayan’s presence in the directorial department will further enthral viewers, as he has previously helmed some incredible movies such as Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Swades & Wake Up Sid.

Furthermore, the movie boasts a stellar supporting cast which includes some big names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The actress after making a jump from television to movies recently shared a picture on her Instagram handle with her ‘Magical Mythical’ friend, Ayan.

In the picture, Mouni can be seen in an all-black attire while Ayan donned a teal green t-shirt and grey pants. In the caption, she wrote, “Mythical magical creatures” along with the hashtag ‘Brahamastra Calls.’

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the first instalment of Brahmastra trilogy is slated to release in the summer of 2020. The plot revolves around ‘Shiva’, an unconventional hero, and his journey to self-discovery and love. In the same, Mouni will play the role of an antagonist.

Apart from Brahmastra, Mouni will also be seen in Mikhil Musale’s film ‘Made in China’ which stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, and prominent actors like Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, Gajraj Rao & Sumeet Vyas in supporting roles.
