Mouni Roy is one of the rising stars of the small as well as the big screens. The actress after gaining enough popularity on the small screens from TV shows like Naagin series, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev got a chance to work in Bollywood.
The bong beauty made her big Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold this year. The actress played Akshay’s better half and was praised for her performance. Well, it seems, year 2017 has been a great year for Mouni as she announced some interesting Bollywood projects which also includes Brahmastra where she will be seen in a grey shade character.
During her recent media interaction, Mouni Roy shared how hard work has helped her achieve success and be on the top today. She said, “You have to be very clear [when it comes to your career]. I love acting and what I do and that is my driving force.” She says that she does feel the strain of having to adapt constantly as an actor. Mouni further added, “There is a whole process and it is supposed to be difficult. I have always thought that the process is excruciating, but at the same time if the process is not difficult, I feel the outcome is not as good.”
“I am a very hard-working person and I can’t think of long-term ambition. I can only focus on the present. I am a combination of hard work and talent. Being a good person is also important, and that is something I have realised over a period of time. If you keep doing that, and live your present, you can build a future and that is what I strive for every day. I focus 200% on my present.”
Mouni Roy will be seen in two other films – Made in China and RAW. Made In China will co-star Rajkummar Rao while RAW will co-star John Abraham.
