Team India opener KL Rahul gave a sneak peek of the Indian dressing room ahead of the Men in Blue’s last round-robin match against Sri Lanka on Saturday at the Headingley in Leeds.
In the video, the Indian dressing room is looking all messed up with the kit bags and the accessories of the players lying around on the floor. Veteran wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni, who has been making the headlines due to the widespread criticism that he is receiving for his ‘sluggish knocks’ in the ICC World Cup 2019, is seen sipping a cuppa as he walked around the jam-packed dressing room.
The likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammed Shami can also be seen in the video. Rahul admitted that he can’t take the camera deep inside the dressing room as it was too messy at that moment but the little of what was seen is like a boost for the Indian cricket team’s fan.

Talking about India’s World Cup 2019 campaign so far, the Men in Blue became the second team after Australia to qualify for the semi-finals. England and New Zealand followed them to become the third and fourth team respectively in the last four.

Virat Kohli’s men have a must-win game ahead with Sri Lanka, having already qualified for the semis, victory in the last match will take India to the top of the table. Australia are currently at the top and have a match against South Africa, and going by the current form Austalia are expected to see off the Proteas easily.

A win for Australia means they will play fourth-placed New Zealand while India will play England in semis. Having already lost to England earlier, India would like to win against Sri Lanka, take the winning momentum into, the semis and hope for a slip up from the Aussies to go top and have a meeting with the Kiwis.
