The highly anticipated film, 83, which got delayed because of the pandemic in India, finally released its trailer! On Tuesday, the much-awaited trailer for, 83, received whole hearts from the audiences. Many dialogues from it won hearts and went viral.
And now, a video of the Mumbai Police is being liked by the audience very much. In the video posted by the Mumbai Police is seen using a dialogue from ’83 trailer’ to give a tongue-in-cheek reminder to population in crowd about COVID-19 safety protocols.
Using one of the lines, the Mumbai Force made an attempt to give out a loud message to the people who are ignoring/avoiding the COVID-19 safety protocols despite of constant threat to the virus. Citing Ranveer’s dialogue, the picture said “He doesn’t know defense”, the police captioned the post as, “When you don’t wear your mask in spite of ’83’ million reminders.”

The film is helmed by Kabir Khan and pays a heartfelt tribute and homage to the Indian team that won the country’s first Cricket World Cup in 1983. The trailer earned lots of plaudits, with many praising Ranveer Singh’s “uncanny resemblance” to the former Indian captain Kapil Dev. The film is set to release on December 24.
The trailer has created a huge buzz online and gave the audience “goosebumps”. While many reminisced how the victory in 1983 went on to inspire generations of budding cricketers in the country.
