The constant downpour in Mumbai has created a lot of unpleasant situations for Bollywood celebs. It is not only the local people who get troubled by the constant showers but as the recent reports suggest, celebs get into trouble as well.
Sonam Kapoor, who generally shuttles between Mumbai and London took to Twitter to inquire about the status of flights at the Mumbai airport. Tagging the Mumbai Police and the BMC departments, Sonam asked, “Can anyone tell me if the airport is open?”
As per information received from Airport Manager, flights are landing & departing from the airport depending upon weather condition & R mostly delayed. Pls check status of your flight b4 starting for airport.Due to waterlogging, travel time to airport may take longer than usual.

And while the Mumbai Police did provide a clarification, Bollywood actress Rakul Preet also shared an updated. It seemed like the De De Pyaar De actress was stuck at the airport since last night, as the flights were un-operational.

While these two Bollywood ladies were dealing with the airport situation, Randeep Hooda turned the circumstance into a wild adventure. Apparently, the actor was scheduled to travel to Mumbai with his uncles, but owing to the flight situation, Randeep was diverted to Nagpur.

With the elderly Hooda men, Randeep decided to visit Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve Buffer Zone in Nagpur and inspired everyone with his post.
Akshay Kumar also decided to take a break from the monsoon madness and was spotted at the airport with wife Twinkle Khanna and daughter Nitara.
The family was scheduled to board a plane to London, however, had to return home owing to the heavy rainfall. Twinkle Khanna shared their story on Twitter and wrote, “The captain was better off commandeering a ship than an aircraft last night, planes skidding, runways flooded and we all sailed back home.”

Meanwhile, actress Esha Gupta took to Twitter to urge people to give shelter to pets, the actress added, “Urge Mumbaikars, please try if you could provide shelter to any strays you can. The humans can find for themselves. Animals wouldn’t know what to do or where to go.”
We would like to advice all those in Mumbai to take care of themselves to stay safe.
