Neena Gupta recently made the announcement that she has been contacted by a number of directors and producers interested in adapting her autobiography into a film. “Sach Kahu Toh,” which was a big hit the previous year,
Neena disclosed some information on the matter by stating in an interview with a news website that she just had her first meeting to discuss the film project and that she has not yet made any decisions on the matter. The actress also said that she does not yet have a specific actor in mind to play the part of her in the next movie. Her understanding is that the producer will be the one to choose the actor, and she won’t have any input into the process at all.
In her book, which attracted a lot of people’s attention once it was published, Neena discussed the difficulties she had as a single parent while bringing up her daughter, Masaba Gupta after her first marriage ended after just one year.
Neena will next be seen in the film “Goodbye” by Vikas Bahl, in which she will share screen time with none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Neena will be working alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Significant parts in the film are also played by Rashmika Mandanna and Pavail Gulati.
In addition to this, she will also be appearing in the film “Panchayat 2” with Jitendra Kumar and Raghubir Yadav. It is Deepak Kumar Mishra’s directorial debut, and it will be made available on an OTT platform on May 20.
