Bollywood big names often became a soft target of online trolling on social media. From megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan, B-town stars over and over again have got brutally trolled for different and bizarre reasons. As we talk about this, Alia Bhatt is the most recent celeb who has gone under the radar of netizens as a result of her commercial. A video of Alia endorsing a sugar drink has gone viral on social media. There are two different videos. In the collage, in the first one she conceded that sugar is not good for health and that she doesn’t eat it, in another, she endorsed a sugar drink.
Netizens are trolling the actress for maintaining double standards. Many angry users called Alia a‘ hypocrite’ and trolled her saying that for money she can do anything. Posting this video, one troll said, “kya hypocrisy hai can do anything for money.” Another tweeted, “For money they can sell po!$!on too if needed sugar is still called to be a slow po!$!on !!.”
To note, during her appearance on the Kapil Sharma Show, when Alia Bhatt had gone to promote her movie Kalank with Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur, the actress uncovered that she doesn’t consume sugar. She referenced that it’s not healthy and recommended that one should consume sugar through fruits.

.@aliaa08 is admitting that sugar is extremely unhealthy, how can she promote products with high sugar content, @ASCI?
Also, why hasn't @fssaiindia taken any steps to regulate sugar levels in packaged food, especially softdrinks?
