Not Only Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30, A Biopic On Mathematician Dr. Vashishtha Announced

In the trend of biopics in Bollywood, another director has made an announcement to direct a film on the life of Bihar mathematician. Filmmaker Prakash Jha is all set to direct a biopic on the life of Vashishtha Narayan Singh from Bihar. Jha calls him as the national treasure of our country.

As per the Prakash Jha, “Dr. Vashishtha Narayan Singh, the brilliant mathematician from Bihar is our national treasure. His life is so inspiring, I would love to direct a biopic on him.”

On the other hand, the producer of the film Vinay Sinha is right now busy in evaluating the life of the eminent mathematician. He further says, “His story has tremendous highs and lows, and now we are all set to produce a film on him. I couldn’t be happier.”

The film will also be co-produced by producer Priti Sinha who added, “I share my father’s deep interest in the life of the genius Vashishtha Babu and that’s why I am keen to make the announcement of our film to coincide with my father’s birthday, which is today. And to make the announcement even more exciting, Prakash Jha has agreed to direct our dream project.”

Along with Vinay Sinha and Priti Sinha, the biopic on Vashishtha will co-produced by Namrata and Amod Sinha. However, there is no information of lead actor and actress has come.

Vashishtha Narayan Singh is not the only mathematician from Bihar on which a film is going to make. Earlier him, a film on Patna-based mathematician and founder of the Super 30 coaching institute Anand Kumar is in the pipeline. The for the role of Anand, Hrithik Roshan has finalized.

Regarding, Super 30, IPS officer Abhayanand, who founded the institute with Anand said, “From what I have read and heard, there are children who are distraught and concerned. Students, who were part of the Super 30 programme, are coming out and talking. The media has opened a channel of communication now and they are sending out their messages and opinions.”
