Neena Gupta is among those senior actors who are active social media users. For a couple of months, she has been in headlines due to various reasons. Be it her new role in the movie, her dressing style, her witty tweets, and what not, she keeps her fans engaged.
She recently opened up about being homebound and the lockdown going in the country. In a telephonic media interaction, she revealed that concerning this tough situation, there is nothing that cheers me but one tries to be cheerful because this is the only option we have with us.
When asked about playing Jitu’s mother’s role in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, how it is different from the role played in Panchayat, she stated — ”No, I am not playing Jitu’s mom in Panchayat. I am the chosen pradhan of the town. In any event, I am not keen on being the pradhan and my husband, played by Raghuvir Yadav, does everything on my benefit, I am not by any means annoyed. I resemble how for the most part ladies in the town are – stressed over their girl’s wedding and things like that.”
She further revealed that in the lockdown, she is learning about flowers as she has very little knowledge about their names and appearance. She is doing more gardening at her home. In the end, she said it’s very important to stay at home to ensure safety.
