McDonald’s, the American fast-food company, has been the most global food company in the world. Yes, last month, the Mcdonald’s Chicago added a vegan burger to their fast-food chain list for their non-animal eating product customers. So India’s all-time favorite Mc Aloo Tikki is now officially on their menu list. As in India, this burger comes under the category of the vegetarians, wherein it will be called as a vegan meal for the people living in abroad.
Lucy Brady, the fast-food chain’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy talked about adding Mc Aloo Tikki to their menu and said, “Plant-based protein is something we’re keeping our eye on.”
The long connecting food chain has been testing the vegan burgers in other places too, including Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, the UK, and Norway. Seems like Indian taste is moving globally around the world.
Meanwhile, Nick Karavites the owner and operator of the company said in his statement, “Customers have expressed interest in items from McDonald’s restaurants located in India and we’re excited to offer them the opportunity to try the longtime vegetarian favorite, McAloo Tikki.”
The menu list including burger comprises of a toasted bun, a vegan patty made from the rich source of starch potatoes, red onions, tomato slices and palatable seasoning of Samosa, the most eatable street food snack in India.
