Parineeti Chopra finally shared an update about her of the forthcoming project to the fans and her followers on social media on Thursday evening. In her post, the amazing actress revealed that she hasn’t started shooting for Saina Nehwal’s biopic yet and she is currently learning to actually how to play badminton. Parineeti Chopra also revealed in her tweet that the film is set to start its shooting in October of this year. She tweeted, “Hi everyone, we have not started the shoot of Saina yet. I am still learning how to play badminton. We will start in October once I get better at it.” Parineeti signed off her post saying, “4 months to go.”

During an interview with IANS earlier this year, Parineeti Chopra revealed that as a part film’s preparatory session, she saw a lot of different and several badminton videos on Saina Nehwal to get her body language right and similar to Sania Nehwal. “The most important advice that I got from my entire training team, Amole Gupte (film’s director) Sir and everybody were that I must watch Saina’s matches. I haven’t watched that many badminton matches and I really want to play exactly the way she plays,” said Parineeti.

Parineeti Chopra announced that she is involved in the project when she took on Instagram and she shared a post on social media and she wrote: “Truly, truly grateful. Thankful. Thank you.” Earlier, it was Shraddha Kapoor who was chosen to play the lead role in the biopic. She even started that shooting for the film. However, the actress had to quit the project as she had quite a lot of projects lined up for her to do.
