Rajkummar Rao, the National award winner has the credit of doing films with such excellence that even his film gone to Oscar. Well, recently he got an invitation from the National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
Rao spoke about the subject of discipline, the civil ethic and personal sacrifice. Rajkumar said, “It was a privilege to interact with the true heroes of our country. I strongly believe that our security forces work tirelessly and selflessly for us. I really wanted to thank them and there couldn’t be a better opportunity.”
Rajkumar will be next seen in Stree with Shraddha Kapoor and about his role he said, “Getting into the space of a horror-comedy like Stree is quite interesting yet challenging. Also, it was great to interact with the locals of Chanderi to pick up their language nuances and mannerisms for my character. It was a great learning exercise.”
Well one of its kind actors, earlier spoke candidly about his senior actors, his colleagues and also about the new breed actor. He said, “It thrills me when I see Varun [Dhawan] doing an October or Ranveer [Singh] playing [Alauddin] Khilji or Ranbir [Kapoor] starring in the Dutt biopic. In a way, it’s very encouraging and satisfactory that we the new breed of actors are all trying to bring in a change and pushing the boundaries together.”
He also talked about his seniors, “Look at Shah Rukh sir play a dwarf in Zero or Aamir sir portray a 50-year-old father to three daughters in Dangal. Even Salman sir has done films such as Tubelight and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. And Amitji [Amitabh Bachchan] challenges himself with every third film and appears as a new and different guy. Akshay Kumar too has been doing it for a long time, so all of us are into it together. That’s why I feel Indian cinema is surely going through a lovely change.”
