The Flintstones house

The Flintstones house is a single-family residence in Hillsborough in California. It was designed by architect William Nicholson in 1976. It is approximately 2,700 sq feet with three bedrooms and a staircase inspired by an ice-cream cone.

Crocodile house, Ivory Coast

Can you imagine yourself living inside a fearsome reptile in Ivory Coast? Situated in the midst of Abidjan, architect Thierry Atta’s crocodile house is massive and completely hollowed out to create a living space inside the structure. The house was completed in 2008 and spells the work of artist Moussa Kalo.

This Upside Down house reflects the symbolic inversions of communist rule. Situated in Poland, this trippy house was build in 2007 and is a tourist attraction now. It is fully furnished and took a long time to build because the workers kept becoming disoriented. The way to the house is by climbing into the house through the attic windows.

Toilet-shaped house

Being a very unique structure in Suwon, South Korea, this toilet-shaped house was built by Sim Jae-duck who is the chairman of the organising committee of the Inaugural General Assembly of the World Toilet Association. It was unveiled on November 11, 2007, to mark the launch of the World Toilet Association.
