Prabhas gives first clap for ‘Guru of Cinema’ Amitabh Bachchan as their next movie started shooting

Superstar Prabhas and National Award winning director Nag Ashwin has collaborated for a Indian film which will be released in many languages and the film is currently termed as ‘#ProjectK’. Earlier, the movie was referred as ‘#Prabhas22’. Actors featuring in this film includes Deepika Padukone in the leading female character and Amitabh Bachchan in a important role.

The star-studded cast of the movie promises to make it one of India’s biggest box office hits. Today, the sci-fi movie went on the floors on Hyderabad following postponement and a long wait due to the ongoing pandemic.

Today, on July 24, Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas started shooting for the yet to be titled sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin. It started with the pooja ritual at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad with the film’s cast and crew members.

Prabhas shared a photo of a clap on his Instagram handle. Amitabh Bachchan was the first to start shooting for his scenes in this film. Sharing the picture, Prabhas wrote his excitement in working with Amitabh Bachchan as “On this #GuruPurnima, it is an honour for me to Clap for the Guru of Indian cinema!… it now begins!! #[email protected] @deepikapadukone @nag_ashwin @vyjayanthimovies”. In the picture, Amitabh Bachchan can be seen in the background as Prabhas gives the first clap.

The film which is currently referred as #ProjectK will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The movie will be produced under the banner of Vyjayanthi movies.
