Prachi Desai’s new project Kosha will break her norm of being a good girl

The most loved former television face Prachi Desai has been loved for her “good girl” face in many Bollywood movies and also her previous TV shows. Prachi says that she has tried being the good girl for the industry and wants to try her hands on something new. She also adds that her upcoming movie would project title Kosha would break the norm of her being a good girl.

Prachi said IANS about her new project Kosha, “The journey has been extremely exciting… Kosha really breaks the norm for me. I play troubled girl, who has run away from home and she has to come back and deal with her past and everything about it was very cool.”

Prachi Desai was last seen playing the role on the silver screen in Rock On 2, in the year 2016. And she says that she has made a huge career shift in a year. “I was offered some really great work, but it was not something that was making me happy. I was looking to do something that I could sink my teeth into because I know I have so much more to offer in terms of performing and acting,” actress added.

She called Kosha a dark urban fairy tale and mentioned, “It is something that I could relate to and it was so important for people to see me in this new light. I have been a good girl for too long and I have no problems with that, but I want to do other kinds of work as well and this really was the thing.”

The movie is produced by late Raj Kanwar’s son Abhay and is directed by Amman Advaita. The movie revolves around the girl who is a band member and is struggling with substance.

Prachi Desai made her debut in TV industry under Zee TV in a very famous and hit show Kasam Se and after that, there was no looking back for her. She stepped in Bollywood with her first movie in 2008, being Rock On!! And after that, the actress was seen in quite a lot of movies like Once Upon A Time In Mumbai; Bol Bachchan; I, Me Aur Mein and lastly in Rock On 2 in 2016. Prachi is all set for her new role in Kosha.
