One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other's faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part of the pre wedding rituals for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed. @nickjonas
Keeping her wedding a full confidential gala inside the large Umaid Bhawan Palace at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Bombay Times finally spill the beans from her hush-hush wedding. The Quantico actress wore a Sabyasachi Lehanga, the designer even helped her with the fitting of the dress and was present with her until she appeared to all.

It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends…#grateful @nickjonas 📹/📷: @calebjordanlee @josevilla @josephradhik
One of the source men revealed to the daily, “The day dawned with a breakfast programme from 7 Am to 11 Am at Rizala the restaurant inside Umaid Bhawan. Post that, it was time for the traditional Haldi-Chooda ceremony, which was slated to take place at 12.30 pm, at the Mardana Hall at the venue. The theme was ‘pink, orange and purple’ for guests and the decor was beautiful. – with traditional Genda Phool (marigolds) all around. There was a lavish spread for lunch at the Rathod Hall.”
At around 5:30 pm, they had the Safa ceremony which is a ritual to make the groom wear a turban which had a brooch attached to it.
He added further, “Priyanka wore a Sabyasachi ensemble and she looked stunning. Designer Sabyasachi was also seen helping her with her ensemble before the function, so it was assumed that she wore his creation.”
The source was further sharing that Nick arrived in a Ghodi as Indian Tradition, and later joined PeeCee on an elephant ride around the Palace. Yesterday, around 8:30 pm, they exchanged Jaimalas which was followed by a grand banquet, which had a great variety of meal.
We are eagerly waiting for the pictures from the wedding gallery.
