India is going through a crisis, responding to which many big names of the nation came forward to offer help amongst which are the makers of ‘Radhey Shyam’ starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. The makers have decided to donate production’s property of 50 custom beds, stretchers, protective equipment, medical equipment stands and oxygen cylinders. The donation was made to a hospital for COVID-19 patients in Hyderabad. The team have created a set of a Hospital for the shoot. After the shoot makers further, they decided to dismantle the set and provide the entire property of the set to the hospital.
While talking to the Deccan Chronicle Ravinder Reddy production designer said, “I asked my filmmakers if we could contribute our hospital set, which we built for the film, for the COVID-19 patients. They immediately agreed.” Ravinder further added “These beds have been custom designed; they are big, strong and are patient-friendly.” The entire set property was initially stored at a warehouse on the outskirts of Hyderabad, then it was transported to the hospital in nine big trucks. Ravinder said that the entire team, specially Prabhas was happy that the property was donated to a noble cause. “Everyone is hoping that the current crises go off and normalcy will be restored soon,” he said.
The film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and English. The release date of the movie is not revealed yet.
