Puneeth Rajkumar’s wife Ashwini Revanath pens down an emotional message for his beloved

Puneeth Rajkumar popularly known as “Appu” has given his golden contribution to this world of entertainment. He was an Indian actor, playback singer, television presenter, and producer who was predominantly worked in Kannada Films.

He has been dubbed by media and fans as “Powerstar”.

The actor married her love in 1999, Ashwini Revanath and became parents to two lovely daughters.

The successful actor died last month, on 29 October after being subject to a massive cardiac arrest. He was just 46 and more than ten lakh people gathered to pay respect to the actor in Bengaluru.

He will be conferred with the ‘Karnataka Ratna’ award posthumously as announced by Karnataka’s Chief Minister, Basavaraj Bommai.

Recently, the late actor’s wife penned down a soul-stirring message. In the message she thanked each fan and felt grateful for such admiration and respect that they offered Puneeth. While acknowledging the condolences and solace from millions, she thanked all of the people, who were in extreme pain after a great loss, for their  immense love and support.

She stated that the untimely death of Puneeth has left the entire nation in shock. Yet the people of the state of Karnataka has bid him a respectful farewell without getting into any unpleasant incidents. She also praised the fans who decide to walk on Puneeth’s path and registered for an eye donation, just as their idol “Appu” did.

She further stated, that Puneeth will live on in these good deeds that you do by keeping him as an ideal and also in the zeal that his memory inspires in you. On behalf of our entire family, heartfelt gratitude to all the fans and every individual for your love and support.
