Raghav Juyal has found himself embroiled in a scandal following the release of a racist video. He can be seen introducing contender Gunjan Sinha with terms like momo,’ ‘ching chong,’ and ‘gibberish Chinese.’ Apart from netizens, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma condemned the incident in a tweet, saying that “racism has no place in our nation.” “It has come to my notice that a popular reality show host has used racist rhetoric against a young participant from Guwahati. This is shameful and totally unacceptable. Racism has no place in our country, and we should all condemn it unequivocally.”

This same episode in which he made those remarks also stars Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia, Dharmesh Yelande, and Remo D’Souza as a guest. Fans have also chastised these celebrities for failing to protest Raghav’s statements.

Raghav has now shared a video in which he discusses the matter. While he has apologised for hurting people’s feelings following the reaction, he has stated that people should watch more episodes to get the complete narrative. “Seeing this brief footage without context is unjust and detrimental to my mental health.” When this participant arrived on the show, she declared that she had the ability to speak Chinese. Raghav explained, “My performance was predicated on that.”
