Dancer-Actor Raghav Juyal have plead for SOS for citizens of India and have appealed to help the rising number of patients in Uttarakhand amidst pandemic. The health care system in the state is not able to provide the facilities to the citizens and thus he issued a statement “Agar hum ek aadmi ko bacha paa rahe hain, toh ek ko kho rahe hai. We don’t know what to do, and where to go.”
The artist is working hard to help people from his hometown Dehradun he said “The situation here is very bad. Bahut bura haal ho gaya hai. We’re running short of everything — oxygen, hospital beds and ICUs. I don’t know why it’s not in the news, and why people aren’t talking about it.” Yahan sab kuch collapse ho chuka hai, log bahar street pe dum todd rahe hain,” he added further.
According to Raghav he have been recieved calls from 30 families to help arranging a ventilator, he mentioned out of which they were able to manage only one, the remaining 29 were without the support and out of which 10 patients died. The actor calls for help on social media through a video message which was further shared by actors including Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal and Remo D’Souza.
While talking to Hindustan Times he said “I don’t have any funding, or an organisation through which I can take care of a task of this magnitude. I’ve exhausted my resources, aur ab mere paas kuch bacha nahi hai. That’s the reason I shared the plea to help.” He mentioned that he has received calls and help is on its way “Vicky aur Varun bhai ka phone aaya, and they expressed shock that they didn’t know the magnitude of the situation here. In fact, Sonu (Sood) bhai also called and assured me of help.”
Raghav urges “We can’t put everything under the carpet. We need to come out and ask for help. Help maangne se hum chote nahi ho jayenge. We want help in any form,”. He further added “Hum ek saath honge toh aa jayege iss crisis se bahar.”
