Mumbai Sessions court has denied the interim relief of the actress Gehana Vasisth in the on-going investigation regarding the pornography-related case. As per the update on ANI, it has reported that “No interim relief for Gehana Vasisth by Mumbai Sessions court, next date of hearing 6th August”.

The actress, last week, had filed an pre-arrest bail plea as she has fear of arrest by the police.

Gehana, who is now out on bail in the pornography-related case involving Raj Kundra, had filed for an pre-arrest anticipatory bail, which was heard on Tuesday afternoon at the Dindoshi court. Sunil Kumar, her lawyer, spoke about her decision to approach the court and his statement reads, “We have moved the court for a pre-arrest anticipatory bail as there was a chance that she would have got arrested by the police”.

Speaking to ETimes, Gehana spoke about her concerns on getting arrested. She said “I will not be going to the police as you know the last time the police gave out wrong details about how my arrest took place. I am waiting for a copy of my charge sheet to tell the world about the misinformation given to the media in my case”.

The Bombay High court has reserved its orders on the petitions filed by Raj and his partner Ryan Thorpe challenging their arrest.

Gehana also defended Raj and has questioned the police about his arrest. She told “His arrest is completely illegal because the police have kept him in custody for 7-8 days and in the meanwhile, they have taken his mobile phone, laptop, CDs and bank account details. If they want to make enquiries, they have enough proof already. Where is the need for them to keep him in custody? The charge sheet has been filed for months now”.
