Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra, who was arrested on Monday on charges of pornography related case, marks today as the end of his judicial custody. Raj was spotted a while ago when he was being taken to a Mumbai court for the hearing of his case. He treated the media people with folded hands who were standing outside the premises.
Since Raj Kundra is not cooperating with the investigation, the Mumbai Police Branch seems to seek an extension of the custody of Raj regarding the pornography-related case.
According to the reports, Raj has refused to cooperate with the police and has no answers to the queries being asked by the police during their investigation. The sources also revealed that so far Raj Kundra denied all the charges against him regarding this case.
Raj was arrested for creating and publishing pornographic contents through mobile applications and had been sent to judicial custody till today, July 23. While many reports suggested about Shilpa Shetty’s involvement in the case, a recent report has revealed that the actress will not be served summons in this case.
Raj Kundra has been charged under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) as well as relevant sections of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act and the IT Act.
