Raj Kundra case: Four employees from Raj Kundra’s company were asked to delete obscene videos from the Hotshots app

Raj Kundra’s pornography-related case is currently investigated by the crime branch of the Mumbai police. Earlier, as per the reports, four employees from the Viaan Industries of Raj Kundra were possibly to turn the prime witness in the adult film racket case. According to the latest report by NDTV, the same four employees were also asked to remove the obscene videos from the ‘Hotshots’ app which the police suspects was used to publish pornographic contents.

According to previous reports, the four employees would be approached by the police in presence of Raj Kundra. Now, another report suggests that an employee of Intelligence Bureau (IB) has also found to be associated in this case. The Crime Branch is yet to provide an official clarification regarding these claims.

Speaking about the investigation, Raj Kundra came before the High Court and claimed that the videos in question are just ‘lascivious’ and does not portray ‘explicit sexual acts’.

Raj Kundra’s wife-actress Shilpa Shetty has defended her husband by referring to the videos as ‘erotica’, not ‘porn’. According to the Mid-Day report, the police officials have said “She (Shilpa Shetty) said that the movies available on Hotshot are not pornography but erotica. She also said that nowadays, similar content is available on the various OTT platforms and in fact, some are more obscene than what is available on Hotshot”.

Raj Kundra came before the Court on July 23 and his police custody was extended till July 27. Raj was arrested for alleged creation and publishing of pornographic contents through mobile apps and is held responsible as the ‘key conspirator’ in this case.

The Juhu apartment of Raj Kundra was also raided by the officials where Raj and Shilpa were questioned for about six long hours.
