According to the supplementary chargesheet which is a part of the ongoing investigation, businessman Raj Kundra’s business partner revealed that Kundra created Hotshots, an online platform, with the intention to distribute pornographic material.
Wife and actress Shilpa Shetty, who is also one of the witnesses, made it quite clear that she was busy and never asked him about the nature of his work.
Hotshot, a blue film platform, was set up by Armsprime Ltd, directed by Raj Kundra and Saurabh Kushwaha, who owns 35% of the shares. However, as per reports, the application was completely controlled by Kundra. Hotstots was sold to UK based Kenrin Ltd, a day after Kundra stepped down from his post of director at Armsprime Ltd.
The chargesheet also mentioned some details about the revenue generated by Hotshots being laundered as per a foreign audit. It read, “The revenues generated from the Hotshot app from August 2015 to December 2020 were transferred by Google and Apple Inc to the bank account of Kenrin maintained with Lloyds Bank in the UK instead of Armsprime Indian account. This indicated that the revenues that were earned and accrued on sale of the Hotshot app were diverted and laundered to Kenrin Ltd’s UK bank account during the directorship of Kundra in Armsprime Ltd.”
