Actor Rajat Bedi has been accused of rash driving after allegedly knocking down a man with his car. According to a report, the incident took place in Andheri, near the DN Nagar metro station while the actor was heading home.
However, in the latest development, Rajat’s manager, Sridevi Shetty decided to give a clarification on the entire incident. The man, after being hit by the actor’s car, was immediately rushed to the Cooper hospital for treatment by the actor himself, she said. The ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ actor also arranged for blood, when the hospital couldn’t arrange for it. He stayed with the injured till 12:30-1 am, before leaving. He made sure that the man was not alone, and asked a friend to stay with him, who shall take care of the treatment and medication.
As for the victim, who’s been identified as Rajesh Boudh, he was in an inebriated state, she further revealed. Rajat was not driving rashly, it was the man who reportedly came in front of the car from nowhere. She added that the actor also informed the police about the incident.
An FIR has also been registered against the actor at DN Nagar police station. When asked about that, Shetty drew a blank.
