Rajkummar Rao is one of the best and most talented actors in the Bollywood industry. Whichever movie he does he always puts his heart and his soul in it. And all of the awards he gets in return it is something undoubtedly he earns and deserves. Recently Rajkummar Rao received Performer of the Year at Filmfare Middle East Awards 2019 ceremony held in Oman.

He was so overwhelmed and he said in his thanksgiving speech “It’s a great honor to receive this award. I also feel gratified in a way to know that my films not only entertain audiences in India but globally.” he also added, ” I’ve had very distinguished films in 2018 and this win certifies that the audiences are also open to experimentation and watching something new and interesting,” Not only this, he also gave a wonderful performance on his hit song Kamariya from the movie Stree.

Later he took over to his social media and posted a picture with the award. Celebrated the win saying, “Won the FilmfareMiddleEast performer of the year award in Oman last night for my work in Stree and Omerta. GRATITUDE”

Some days before, Rajkummar Rao tweeted about Kangana Ranaut and her film ‘Manikarnika’. The duo is currently working on their new film ‘Mental Hai Kya?’. He wrote, “Just watched Manikarnika. An amazing film that chronicles the life of the queen of Jhansi. Kangana, as always, was phenomenol as Rani Laxmi bai. Now can’t wait for you guys to watch MentalHaiKya.

Though this tweet met with a lot of hate from the fans saying ‘the addition of the last line wasn’t necessary’ and ‘Mandatory Tweet to appreciate your Co-star since you are working with her next.’ Well, we don’t know if it was a publicity stunt or not or was he just trying to promote his picture. We cannot deny the fact that that Kangana Ranaut really had a strong performance in ‘Manikarnika’ and she will be going to take the audience away with her in ‘Mental Hai Kya?’ as well.
