Rajkummar Rao opens up about sporting unibrow in his movie Made In China

The very talented actor that is making headlines every now and then with his wonderful roles in films, Rajkummar Rao is all set to don another interesting role in his upcoming film Made In China.  The Stree actor is going to play the role of Gujarati entrepreneur Raghu Mehta in Made In China. The actor will be seen sporting a unibrow in the film and in a recent chat he opened up about it.

The actor said that he decided to sport unibrow in Made In China, because of director Mikhil Musale.  Rajkummar plays the male lead role of Raghu Mehta in the film. For the role he gained eight kgs and also got a round belly.  Other than gaining weight and the belly, the actor also decided to sport a unibrow for his getup in the film. The actor revealed that he was inspired by the director Musale as he has a unibrow.

He said, “When I saw Mikhil for the first time, his unibrow was one of his features that were most striking. Without being out there and in your face, it does create a pretty strong mental impression of someone.”

He further said, “I am always looking to experiment with my looks for each character I play on the screen and after we decided to embark upon this film journey together, I’d made up my mind to pull inspiration from Mikhil and sport a distinct unibrow. It looked very different and I felt it gave my character an interesting touch.”

Made In China is a movie about a Gujarati entrepreneur Raghu Mehta and his ‘jugaadu’ business journey.  The female lead role is being played by Mouni Roy. She essays the role of Raghu’s wife Rukmini in the flick.

The movie is being bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan in association with Jio Studios.  It is a Maddock Films production. The movie stars Paresh Rawal and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles. It is written and directed by Musale.  He is going to debut into Bollywood with this film. The movie is slated for Diwali release.
