Randhir Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19

The world of entertainment is under the grip of the Coronavirus and even the Kapoor family is not spared from the contagion! Recently, the father of Kareena and Karishma Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor was tested positive for the COVID-19. The 74-year-old actor got admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai after the seriousness of his health was noticed.

No information regarding the health of the actor was informed by the family. However, an official statement regarding the same is soon to be expected from the family. Last year, the actor lost his brother, Rishi Kapoor and sister, Ritu Nanda which had an adverse effect on his mental condition and health. While in the year 2021, he faced another loss and heartbreak when actor Rajiv Kapoor breathed his last.

Randhir Kapoor is regarded as the megastar of the Indian film industry giving some of the best-known blockbusters we have ever seen. The acting journey of this maestro began in 1971 with the onset of his first film Kal Aaj Aur Kal. The actor has been seen in more than 100s of film in his career. Randhir Kapoor was last seen making the fans giggle with his acting in the 2012 film, Housefull 2.
