Randhir Kapoor and five of his employees had tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. Unfortunately, Randhir’s condition has deteriorated, and he has been transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU).

The eldest son of Raj Kapoor, who was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital on Thursday afternoon, told the leading news outlet, ETimes this morning, “I have been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit to do some further tests.”

In addition, he said, “The hospital is taking very good care of me and I thank Tina Ambani. Everything is under control. They are going all out for me. The doctors are around all the time.”

Randhir was admitted to a room first, and he told ETimes last night that he was fine and did not require ICU or oxygen support. After experiencing some shivering, the senior actor-director had undertaken the COVID-19 test.

We wish him a speedy recovery!
