Ranveer Singh, the popular actor in Bollywood film industry recently announced the wrap-up of London schedule of his upcoming film ’83. The actor made this announcement officially through his Instagram page to all his fans and followers. Ranveer shared a video and announced about the wrap of his next flick. The entire cast and crew have been working for the upcoming film of Ranveer Singh since May 2019 in London.
For this cricket-based film, Ranveer Singh and the whole team navigated across different locations. They finished the filming at most remarkable cricket stadiums that our Indian cricketers played during the 1983 Prudential World Cup. This film is actually based on India’s historic and the first victory at Cricket World Cup. This film features Ranveer Singh in the lead role. He plays the role of the Former Captain Kapil Dev as he played a vital role behind India winning the World Cup for the first time.
It’s been more than 3 months for the entire team to remain in London as part of the filming schedule. On a happy note, Ranveer shared this news with his fans through his Instagram page. The actor shared a Boomerang video featuring himself raising a toast in a unique look. After sharing the video,he captioned it as ‘& that’s a schedule wrap, folks! CHEERS @83thefilm.’
The film ’83 features Saqib Saleem, Adinath Kothare, Harrdy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Jatin Sarna, Pankaj Tripathi, Dinker Sharma, Dhairya Karwa, Nishant Dahiya, Ammy Virk and others in supporting roles. Boman Irani will be seen in the role of Farookh Engineer in the film. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone will play the role of Romi Dev in the character of Ranveer’s reel life wife in the movie. The actress also joined Ranveer during the London schedule.
The much-anticipated film is scheduled to release on 10th April 2020. Madhu Mantena, Sajid Nadiadwala, Kabir Khan, and Vishu Induri are the producers of the film. For playing the role of Kapil Dev, Ranveer Singh practiced cricket before commencing the filming. He also placed extreme efforts in order to give the best for the film.
