Ranveer Singh is a fabulous new-age actor, said Simmba director Rohit Shetty

Simmba is the talk of the town since its inception which is helmed by Rohit Shetty and he is more than happy as he cast Bajirao Ranveer Singh for the upcoming flick. And why not, fans can’t keep their calms watching Ranveer’s Singham look with Mustache. It’s Ranveer charisma which made him every director’s favorite hero to cast. We are waiting for Rohit Shetty’s another movie as we believe he is prepping for another blockbuster after last movie Golmaal Again in 2017, a blockbuster which earned over Rs 200 at the box office.

Also, the filmmaker hopes for the same and target to set a new milestone in the history of filmmaking. Talking at an event, Rohit said, “Ranveer is a fabulous new-age actor. With this film, he will be able to display his range as a commercial star. Simmba is his biggest out-and-out masala film and I have full faith in it.”

He also revealed and added, “Though the movie is based on Temper, there are merely a few plot points which are similar. It’s an entirely new story. It is my best-written film till date”. It is also reported that Rohit Shetty’s Simmba is going to clash with SRK’s Zero, however, Rohit refused any such news. Rohit said, “We decided not to come together because that would affect numbers. It was a mutual decision.”

The movie is slated for the release of December 28, 2018. Also, the movie will mark the debut of Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. Ranveer will be seen portraying the role of a cop.

Earlier, while shooting actress Tabu gave a surprise visit on the sets and gave everyone a surprise. Ranveer was the happiest guy seeing Tabu on the sets that can be predicted at least with the new picture shared by Rohit and Ranveer both.

On the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy alongside Alia Bhatt, a cricket-based film on India’s 1983 World Cup win with Kabir Khan. The man has also grabbed Karan Johar’s Takht which is a multi-starer movie featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Padnekar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal.
