Recently, actor Ranveer Singh confirmed the sequel of the film titled Simmba. The actor says it was always meant to be a franchise.

Ranveer Singh stated that the film Simmba was always intended to be a franchise, and he is always ready to play his favorite character again for the sequel of Simmba, while speaking to a news portal.  In the first part, his performance was loved by everyone and his fans and it seems like the second part of Simmba is already in the pipeline.

Meanwhile, the first part of Simmba was a remake of the 2015 Telugu film, Tamper was a commercial success and grossed over Rs. 400 crores at the box office worldwide. Also, directed by talented Rohit Shetty along with Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood with a cameo by Ajay Devgn who reprised his role from Rohit’s Singham series.

Coming back to Ranveer, he made his debut in 2010 from ‘Band Baaja Baarat’. Currently, Ranveer is riding high on the success of ‘83’. ‘83’ has garnered praise and love from everyone, directed by Kabir Khan. It was based on the most glorious chapter in the history of Indian cricket. While Ranveer played the role of Kapil Dev, Deepika played the role of Kapil’s wife.
