Ranveer Singh talks about Gully Boy and his character, says ‘I resonate deeply with the movie’

Gully Boy is one of the finest creations in Bollywood and it’s such a movie in which the stars have given more than 100%. From an interesting story line to real-life characters, it’s a masterpiece to watch. Ranveer Singh recently opened about his experience and he talked about a lot of things. Let’s get into it:

He played the character of Murad in the movie and stated that it was a combination of a lot of things that resonate within him. Ranveer further said people compliment him for this role.

In the movie, Ranveer played a character who lives in Dharavi and rapping is his passion. Ranveer said he would love to give all the credits of this movie to his ‘karm bhoomi’ and this movie was the perfect opportunity for him to try something new.

Continuing his karm bhoomi remark, Ranveer said Mumbai has given him so many things and his love for this place is endless and eternal. He praised director Zoya Akhtar and said she has given a ‘love letter’ to this city and all the rappers of this city who live with big dreams and work hard.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in a cricket-based movie ’83 in which he will be playing the role of Kapil Dev. Deepika Padukone will also share the screen with him.
