Actor Ravi Dubey and Punjabi film industry star Sargun Mehta have come a long way in their journey as a couple. Ravi and Sargun are an example of how pious love should be kept in the modern-day scenario of hookups and shallow relationships. It has been more than a decade of their relationship, and one look at Ravi and Sargun’s social media feeds will make you wonder how they keep the romance in their relationship alive.

Recently, while talking to IBTimes, Ravi Dubey revealed his secret to a long-lasting relationship. He talked about how society has removed the sanity from marriage, thus, it’s the couple’s responsibility to create their own checklist, and make sure they mark a check on each of the boxes. He said that the intention in a relationship should not be to make it last long, but to make it eternal.

He further added that respect is one of the most important supporting pillars in a relationship. He said, “In every relationship, respect is important. When you are at the final leg of your life, what is left? Not the same ambition that you had when you met your partner for the first time, nor the charm, nor the physical attraction. What sustains is the companionship and the fact that you love spending time with each other.”
