After Atrangi Re actor Dhanush and Aishwaryaa announced their separation, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took to his Twitter handle to share his views on marriage and divorce. The filmmaker calls the former jail and later liberation.

Ram Gopal Varma wrote, “Star divorces are good trendsetters to warn young people about the dangers of marriage….it was best to keep loving instead of entering the jail called marriage.”

Ram Gopal Varma wrote nothing murders love faster than marriage…the secret of happiness is to love. Adding more details, he wrote, love in a marriage lasts for lesser days than they celebrate it which is 3 to 5 days. Also, the filmmaker advocated the celebration of divorces with fanfare and criticized the institution of marriage.

In another tweet, RGV claimed that marriage means entrapment in a continuous cycle of unhappiness. In the past too he expressed his cynicism about the institution of marriage. The filmmaker tweeted how marriages are made in hell and divorces in hell when Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced their separation on social media platforms. When PK actor Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their split, RGV talked about the need to celebrate divorce.

Coming back to Dhanush and Aishwaryaa, on Monday they announced their separation in a joint statement.
