Actress Rhea Chakraborty recently shared a “stand alone” picture of her baby brother Showik Chakraborty and called him a ‘brave and humble warrior’. A year ago, Rhea and Showik were arrested in Sushant Singh Rajput’s Murder Case. Rhea was given a punishment for one month whereas the brother was jailed for three months.
On Thursday, Rhea took to her Instagram handle and posted a lovely picture featuring her sibling walking alone on the streets. Rhea reposted the photo and wrote “My brave brother, my humble warrior.”
The picture was first posted by Showik on his Instagram account.
He captioned it, “A year later…From being down under to rising up – this one year has taught me what I couldn’t learn in the 24 years of my being. The value of normalcy, the true expression of love and the meaning of gratitude.
He further wrote, describing the days, he struggled and what the last year had taught him. He stated that the year carved him to a person he currently is, and he has nothing but “Home” with his family and friends. He also thanked the people and called them ‘lifelines’, who stood by him and his family.
He also decide to always look forward and wrote,’ “forwards and upwards” from here on’. The post witnessed the comments of many celebrities. Along with Rhea who wrote, “god bless you ‘my warrior’. you inspire me every single day”, Farah Khan, Dandekar sisters and many more supported him.
In September 2020, Rhea and Showik were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for allegedly providing drugs to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The sister-brother was sent to Mumbai’s Byculla Jail.
