Rohit Shetty Reveals Why He Wanted Taimur To Promote Sister Sara’s Film Simmba

The year 2018 has been a great one for newbie actress Sara Ali Khan. The daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh had two big releases Kedarnath and Simmba. Both the movies released in the gap of two weeks. While Kedarnath marked the Bollywood debut of Sara which hit the silver screens on 7th December, Simmba hit the theatres on 28th December.

Interestingly, both the movies did pretty well and Sara got a lot of praises from the audiences as well as the critics. Well, Sara had a bang-on year.

Talking about Simmba which has been the current favorite of all the fans. All credit goes to the powerhouse of talent Ranveer Singh. Rohit Shetty along with his lead actors Sara and Ranveer promoted the film on various platforms from visiting reality shows to TV serials, the team left no stone unturned to promote the film.

Well, do you guys know that Rohit Shetty wanted Taimur to be a part of Simmba’s promotions? Yes, you heard it right! As we all know, Taimur is the favorite kid of paparazzi and media can’t stop clicking the two-year-old toddler wherever he is spotted. Looking at Taimur’s popularity which is rising with every passing day, it would be a great idea if he would become a part of promotions.

Rohit and his team had visited on the sets of India’s Got Talent and Sara was shown a picture of her tying a rakhi to her to Taimur. Apparently, Karan Johar was talking about Taimur is popular among the fans and the media to which Rohit said that he will request Sara to make her little brother wear a Simmba shirt for one day, and added, ‘Meri film ki opening lag jayegi’. Well, we think Rohit is right!

Ranveer too is pretty fond of Taimur and revealed in Karan Johar’s chat show that he is willing to play Taimur’s father onscreen in all his movies. Ranveer said, “Uss time pe role mujhe sirf Taimur ke daddy ka milega. Woh filmein kare, bahot saari filmein kare, aur har film mein main uske papa ka role karoon.”
