Ruk Ruk Ruk Song’s Still From Helicopter Eela Is Making Us Fall For Kajol Once Again

Kajol is prepping for her upcoming flick ‘Helicopter Eela’ which is slated for the release of October. Helicopter Eela is Based on the Gujarati play titled Beta, Kaagdo by Anand Gandhi, the story of Eela revolves around a single mother and an aspiring singer (played by Kajol) and her relationship with her son.

Trailer of the movie is already out and it seems a quite interesting story of a mother-son duo. Now, the new song titled Ruk Ruk Ruk will be released soon and it is recreated from the super hit track from 1994’s Vijaypath featuring Tabu and Ajay Devgn. It has been recreated keeping in mind the character of Kajol in the film by musician Raghav Sachar while Palomi has given the vocals.

Talking about Kajol’s role in HE she has been cast in the movie for as an aspiring singer and a single mother. A still picture is released from the new version of Ruk Ruk Ruk, Kajol can be seen wearing a white shirt and denim, giving a pose. The song Ruk Ruk Ruk will be launched on September 25.

While talking with a leading daily about Ruk Ruk Ruk 2.0, Raghav said that he kept the same melody of this hit song, composed by Anu Malik. Raghav told a leading daily, “We have updated the song with new rap portions that make it more conversational. Since Eela’s character is very expressive, it adds a personal touch to the song”.

Earlier in an interview when she was asked if she finds any similarity between the reel and real life Eela, she replied, “I think most mothers are like Eela. Indian moms generally… all of us are Eela, but the degree of obsession can change from one mother to another.”

It is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Jayantilal Gada which will release on 12 October.
