A game name “Selmon Bhai” was available on play store and reportedly it was based on the very famous 2002 hit and run case in which Bollywood’s super star Salman Khan was said to be involved. The actor took legal actions and took his appeal to the Civil Court in Mumbai, he demanded the founders of the game to take it down the play store and also demanded to deny access to the people who already have the game. Civil court judge K M Jaiswal passed the judgement  on Monday and a copy of it was made available on Tuesday. The court restrained the makers of the game, Parody Studios Pvt Ltd and its directors, from disseminating, launching, re-launching and recreating the game or any other content related to the case and the actor.

When watched the game it was clearly visible that the character in the game almost represents the Bollywood actor and the content was totally based on the 2002 hit and run case. The actors legal team DSK Legal said that the makers willingly created the game in amount of gaining  commercial advantage by exploiting the personality rights of our client without seeking our client’s consent,” Which means that the actor was totally unaware about the game and its content. The court ordered the developers to file an affidavit to Khan’s plea and shifted  the matter for further hearing on September 20. The team of the actor believes that this was created out of hate and caused a lot of damage to the actors reputation.
