Salman Khan Says He Will Play An Antagonist Onscreen, Tells The Reason Behind It

Salman Khan is one of the popular superstars of Bollywood who is giving back-to-back hits on the box-office since past many years. Salman’s films are a guaranteed hit at the ticket window and splash all the box-office records with great earnings.

Salman has been experimental with many roles throughout his long film career. But mostly we see him doing heroic roles making all of us drool over his dashing personality. But there’s one role which his fans might never see him doing on the big screen and that is an antagonist or a character which has grey shades. In  30 years of his career, Salman has never done such a role and he will never do it.

Earlier, there were reports about Salman playing an antagonist in Dhoom 4 but his recent statement makes it crystal clear that it is never going to happen.

During his recent media interaction, Salman said that he is not keen on doing roles which has grey shades and also gave a reason behind it.

The superstar said, “Having worked in the film industry for so long, I have noticed that the youth often follow whatever a hero does. They blindly ape their favourite stars. That’s why I have decided never to play an antagonist on screen because people can get impressed by my actions. I don’t want my fans to follow me and indulge in any wrong-doings.”

On the work front, Salman is currently busy shooting for his much-awaited film Bharat alongside a stellar star cast which includes Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover. The film is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated for EID 2019 release. The star cast recently wrapped up two schedules which happened in Mumbai and Malta.

Salman will also be seen hosting Bigg Boss 12 which will be on air this month.
