Earlier, Loveratri was the title of the movie but it got changed for some reasons. Addressing the same he said in an interview with a leading daily, “There was nothing offensive about that title. It’s a beautiful love story, but some people were offended by the name, and they said it was wrong, so we changed it”.
In a recent interview with Bombay Times, the actor spoke about the film industry and the competition which the actors tend to feel in the business. He stated, “Today, it’s like the law of the jungle out there. Everyone is eating into everything, during our time’s stars used to think about stardom after their films had become hits”.
Further stating, he added: “With the trend of social media, a debut actor or actress is already a star. He further spoke about how times have changed and how newcomers have to be extra careful. “Don’t play games, just be enthusiastic about what you want to do, be patient and don’t jump into anything,” he says, adding that it is better to do no work than to do bad work. “If there is no work coming your way, that’s fine. But the work you do should be good. And good work does come along in different forms — it could be movies, parallel cinema, TV, or digital series”.
Launching anyone in the cinema is a huge responsibility as stated by the actor. He said, “If the people you launch make it, it’s the best feeling in the world, but if they don’t, you shouldn’t stop working with them. New people will keep coming your way, but you should continue to work with those you’ve worked with in the past because you must have seen something in them then”.
On the work front, SK will be next seen in Ali Abbas’s Bharat alongside Katrina Kaif. This is making headlines for various reasons since it came into existence.
