Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is soon going to make her Bollywood debut with the film Simmba. To have a successful debut, Sara went to Juhu’s Siddheshwar Temple with mom Amrita Singh to seek the blessings of God. While walking out of the temple, she made donations to the needy and poor people and the video of the same is going viral on the web.
Sara is known for her simplicity. She is often seen wearing traditional attires. This time too, she wore a plain white salwar-kameez.
Have a look at the video:
It is not the first time that Sara has showed her religious side. She was also clicked outside the Shani Temple last week with brother Ibrahim distributing stuff to the under-privileged people. This just shows that the siblings have a heart of gold.
Earlier, Sara was supposed to make her debut with Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. However, the film has suffered a setback due to the fallout between producers Ekta Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar and Prernaa Arora. Speaking about all these obstacles, Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan told Hindustan Times, “I’ve been keeping track of it and, of course, it bothered me because I wanted things to go smoothly with her. I’m very happy that she now has a good film with Karan Johar. I was quite involved with her getting on board with Karan but after that, I can afford again to take a backseat. I’m here if she needs me.”
She will now be seen in Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar. It is slated for 28 December 2018 release.
Speaking about the same, Saif had told a leading daily, “There’s been a lot of here and there with Sara’s debut but she has worked it through. Now, Karan Johar is taking care of her and she is in the Dharma camp, so she’ll be fine. I would have always liked that because then, it’s a lot more secure and people like Karan know how to take care of you. It’s more than just making a film. She’s following her heart.”
