Newbie, Sara Ali Khan shares a close bond with her parents even though the got divorced when Sara is just nine years old. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh are cordial when it comes to their children Sara or Ibrahim.
While talking in an interview with a leading film magazine, when Sara was asked if her parents have ever set any do’s and don’ts, she replied, “My parents insist that whether it’s being a good actor or a level-headed person, you need to make your own mistakes. So, short of preventing me from jumping off a building, my parents are okay with me taking my own call and making my own decisions.”
But Saif and Amrita always asked her to be honest and to be true to herself first. “The only dos and don’ts are things like don’t lie, don’t be dishonest. Dishonesty shows in your eyes and no make-up artist or DOP (director of photography) will be able to hide that. So, just be real,” the 23-year-old revealed.
Fun loving Sara has recently made her mind-blowing debut with Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath last month. The actress left everyone amazed with the energy she carries and her confidence and talent are what critics and viewers loved.
Later, Sara shared the screen space with Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba which is doing exceptionally well at the box office and moving towards the Rs 250-crore mark at the domestic box office.
Currently, the latest buzz is that she will be next seen in David Dhawan’s remake of Coolie No 1 opposite Varun Dhawan. It is being said that the film will go on floors in July this year and hit the theatres in 2020.
