Aryan Khan’s bail application will be heard today in the court and senior lawyer, Majeed Memon, in a conversation with ETimes stated that he [Aryan] should be granted bail as there is no motive or any allegations claimed on him. The reports of Times of India speak that he should get bail unless refusal is maintained. Memon also made it a point to say that not getting bail after 17 days of custody is punishment for the accused and his client is innocent.

The lawyer also spoke on the WhatsApp chats that are recovered by the official and will that have any impact on the court’s decision today. Memon said that there is no such WhatsApp chat recovered and Khan is a part of a family that people admire and influence so allegations are claimed without any merit or evidence.

On the other hand, a few days ago accused Arbaaz’s Merchant’s lawyer, Taraq Sayed, said to ETimes that the whole case is based on the WhatsApp chat of the accused and their phones are not taken into custody. The lawyer added, “There is no mention of the seizure in the panchnama.”

On October 3 the lawyer also spoke to ETimes and said that the offences are bailable and the drugs found were in small quantity which rules out the possibility of commercial quantity.
