Fans of the popular celebrities always want to know from where they started off their career. Did they enter directly to the B-town? What where their struggles for reaching to this level? These questions are very common with regard to celebrities. So the answer is: not every star has directly jumped to the Bollywood world. Some of them have gained appraisals from their past work and then they decided to try their luck for the silver screen.

  •       Shah Rukh Khan:

The Badshah of Bollywood has won the hearts of millions of people in India as well as overseas. And many of you must have already known that the actor had begun his career from the TV shows. For the unversed, King Khan was the part of two television shows namely ‘Circus’ and ‘Fauji’. After four years of the release of Fauji, Shah Rukh gave his debut film Deewana in the year 1992.

  •       Vidya Balan:

Vidya Balan has played versatile roles in her Bollywood career. However, many would not know that the actress was a lead part of the TV serial ‘Hum Paanch’. Vidya played Radhika in the serial. Later on, she decided to try her luck in films and she did a Bengali film in the year 2003.

  •       Ayushmann Khurrana:

Actor Ayushmann also began his journey with the TV shows like ‘Pop Stars’ and ‘Roadies’. Later, in the year 2012, the actor had his Bollywood break with ‘Vicky Donor’.

  •       Irrfan Khan:

One of the finest actors of the film industry Irrfan Khan also started initially with television shows including Chanakya, Chandrakanta and Bharat Ek Khoj.

  •       Yami Gautam:

Yami Gautam had worked in television shows like Chaand Ke Paar Chalo and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. Like Ayushmann, Yami also debuted in Bollywood with the film Vicky Donor.
