Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has been winning our hearts both on-screen and off-screen. There is no denying fact that he is a great actor and he has proved it in films like Haider, Padmaavat etc. In real life too, he is an amazing man, and a family person. He knows how to maintain the work-life balance.

Though, he got married to Mira Rajput in an arranged setup, but the duo have been giving us some major love goals since all these years. Shahid has also proved himself to be a doting father. Mira and Shahid are expecting their second child and the couple is prepping up for it. Last month, we saw Shahid working his ass off to design the play room for Baby Misha and the baby who will arrive soon.

The actor has been currently busy with his two projects. After wrapping up ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, Shahid is supposed to work on first schedule of Arjun Reddy.

However, being a family man, Shahid has decided to take a paternity leave soon. According to a source of a leading daily, “Shahid will take a few weeks off in mid-September after he wraps up the first schedule of Arjun Reddy, to spend time with Mira, Misha and the newborn.”

Meanwhile, the producers of Battu Gul Meter Chalu have supported Shahid’s decision to stick to Mumbai promotions in August. The source said, “Shahid had been by their side when the film ran into trouble owing to one of its former producers. This is their way of reciprocating his dedication. The makers have decided against having city tours as part of the promotional plan.”

Bhushan Kumar, producer of both the films said to a leading daily, “Shahid is a committed actor who believes in striking a balance between his personal and professional life. Being a parent is a special feeling. It is important that we make time for those closest to us. I understand Shahid’s need to be by his wife’s side at such a time.”

Murad Khetani, co-producer on Arjun Reddy was all praises of Shahid seeing him maintaining the work-life balance. He said, “As a parent myself, I understand Shahid’s need to be with his family. He has been accommodating in terms of dates. He will film a schedule of Arjun Reddy before he takes time out.”

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ which also starred Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
