Actor Shahid Kapoor is known for regularly interacting with his fans and followers on a regular basis. In a recent question and answer that he was having on his Twitter handle, he managed to stir the Twitterati with a choice that he made.

Shahid went on to interact about his upcoming film ‘Jersey’, which is a remake of a South Indian movie of the same name. He also talked about some of the actors, namely Hrithik Roshan, Samantha Akkineni, of ‘The Family Man 2’ fame and more. While he kept all his fans throughly entertained, a certain question popped, the cause of the storm that overtook Twitter.

A user asked him to choose between his two critically acclaimed films, ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Kabir Singh’, two movies for which his performance was heavily praised by the audience. Both the movies have a gap of 14 years between them. Netizens clearly expected him to choose the former because as soon as he wrote, “Kabir,” they were not happy.

Many thought that question was undebatable as Shahid’s portrayal of Aditya Kashyap in ‘Jab We Met’ was unparalleled. Popular memer Sagar, who goes by the username ‘sagarcasm’ on Twitter and Instagram took a dig at Shahid, writing, “Sigma male rule #37 – Never praise your ex’s movie even if you were a part of that movie.”
